ڈاکٹر رسول بخش رئیس اور بیداری

دو ہزار تیرہ کے عام انتخابات سے پہلےمجھے (لمس) لاہور کے پروفیسر اور ماہر سیاسیات ڈاکٹر رسول بخش رئیس کے ہمراہ چند ٹاک شوز میں شرکت  کا اعزاز حاصل ہوا۔ اس وقت انہیں پاکستان مسلم لیگ(نواز) کے تجزیہ کار کے طور پرمدعو کیا جاتا تھا۔ سیاسی معاملات میں ان کی تنک مزاجی کی وجہ  مجھے ان کو سنبھالنے میں قدرے دقت ہوتی تھی۔ ان کےتیز طرار اورذہانت آمیز تجزیات کی وجہ سے میں ان کو پاکستان مسلم لیگ(نواز) کا موثرہتھیار سمجھتا تھا۔


حال ہی میں چینل92کے ایک پروگرام جب میں نے انہیں نواز شریف پر کڑی تنقید کرتے سنا تومیں نے انہیں یکسر بدلی ہوئی شخصیت محسوس کیا۔وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ نواز شریف میں سوجھ بوجھ، تجربے اور بصیرت کی کمی پائی جاتی ہے۔ان کے خیال میں نواز شریف کو تاریخ کا ادراک نہیں۔ان کا الزام تھا کہ نواز شریف نے بار بار عوام کےاعتماد کی توہین کی ہے۔ ڈاکٹر رسول بخش رئیس کے نواز شریف کے بارے میں تجزیہ کے مطابق مسلم لیگی کارکنوں کی ذہنی سوچ در اصل ان کے قائد کے خیالات کا پرتو ہے۔ جب بھی مسلم لیگ کے حامیوں سے سامنا ہوتا ہے تو وہ بھی بالکل اپنے رہنما کی مانند جہالت اور تاریخ سے نا بلد ہونے کامظاہرہ کرتے ہیں۔


 یہ جان کر زیادہ خوشی ہوئی کہ پاکستان مسلم لیگ(نواز) کے کٹڑ حامی تجزیہ کار نواز شریف کی مخالفت پر اتر آئے ہیں کیونکہ انہیں معلوم ہے کہ نواز شریف اس ملک کے ساتھ کیا کھلواڑ کررہے ہیں۔


یہ ہے وہ تبدیلی کی لہر آہستہ آہستہ ہمارے معاشرے میں سرایت کررہی ہے۔


اللہ کرے اِس قوم کی آنکھیں بھی کھل جائیں۔






Dr Rasul Baksh Rais - An Awakening

Before 2013 elections, I participated in a few talk shows with Dr Rasul Bakhs Rais, a political scientist and Professor at LUMS Lahore. At that time, He was always invited as pro PMLN analyst. I found him extremely difficult to handle because of his apt sense of political affairs. I considered him lethal weapon of PMLN in political debates with sharp and intelligent analysis


Today I listened him on 92 Channel and he was a changed person. He was highly critical of Nawaz Sharif. He considered Nawaz Sharif a person with lack of prudence, experience and wisdom. He remarked that Nawaz Sharif has no insight of history. He blamed Nawaz Sharif for breeching trust of Nation repeatedly. His analysis on Nawaz Sharifs is basically indicative of Patwari mindset created by their leader. Today when we encounter PMLN supporters, they carry similar traits of ignorance and lack of understanding on history just just like their leader.


It was a pleasant sight to see hard core pro PMLN analyst now turning against Nawaz Sharif, realising what havoc Nawaz Sharif is playing with this country.


It’s a sign of change creeping in our society.


May Allah open eyes of this nation.
